Description
This really lovely 300 year old character stone cottage is Grade 2 listed. It benefits from the best in modern standards with both bedrooms having their own bathroom, making this cottage ideal for two couples traveling together. The cottage is on 3 levels and retains many original period features with beams and a lovely window seat set in the 3 foot thick stone walls.
Accommodation
Ground Floor:
Lounge: Beamed lounge area has two sofas and stone fireplace with wood burner. Equipped with 43” LED TV including full Netflix subscription, DVD recorder and Hi-Fi.
Dining Area: Light oak dining table and seating for four people. 
Kitchen Area: Modern and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and stainless steel electric oven, a five burner gas hob and a good range of cooking utensils.
First Floor:
Bedroom: A pretty double room with luxury linen and coordinated light oak furnishings. This room will accommodate a cot.
Bathroom: Equipped with a luxury oval fronted, double ended bath that has a thermostatically controlled shower over with glass screen, wash basin, and W.C.
Second Floor:
Bedroom: The second bedroom in the eaves has twin beds with the facility to convert into a super kingsize bed. Oak wardrobe with matching chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. Will accommodate a cot.
Ensuite: With a quadrant shower enclosure and thermostatically controlled shower, wash basin, and W.C.
Outside:
Garden: Shared garden area.
Patio: Dedicated patio area with table, chairs and sun umbrella. A BBQ is available.
Outbuildings: Laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
Parking: The cottage is in a private courtyard shared with nine other cottages. Off-road parking is available.
Restrictions:
Dogs: One small dog is accepted without additional charge. Please call if you are unsure.
Considerations:
General: This property is situated on a main road with access both from the street and via a private courtyard. It has double glazing and extensive sound insulation to minimize road noise.
